The equinox lands on Tuesday, September 22nd, which means equal day, equal night, and an excuse to pack away the pale pastels for rich ambers, moss greens, and deep harvest tones. Forget trying to stand an egg on its end—come balance your colors at BDC instead.

We’re heading into our 21st year of keeping Portland creative, and to kick off fall, customer favorite Janu Gems is back for a two-day trunk show on Friday & Saturday, September 25th & 26th.

If you’ve seen Theodore before, you know the drill: tables full of gorgeous natural and semi-precious stones you won’t find in our everyday cases. But don’t wait until the weekend to wander in. The smart move is stopping by over the next week to stock up on the wire, cord, findings, and staple beads that make those focal stones actually wearable. (There’s nothing worse than bringing home a haul of rare gems only to realize you don’t have the clasp to finish the piece.)

Come balance your fall palette early, get your workbench prepped, and we’ll see you again when the trays come out.
