The French and the Americans have a long history of cooperation, dating back to before the American Revolution, in 1776.   French support took the form of both recognition of the fledgling American Republic, as well as with arms.

Perhaps the most valuable French contribution to the American struggle was the help provided by Marquis de Lafayette, who served as an invaluable aid to General George Washington.

BDC is pleased to join our next-door neighbor, Petite Provence French Bistro, in celebration of Bastille Day, July 14.

At BDC, we have two Trunk Shows running currently.  The first, “Bulk Findings” offers assorted bags of high quality base metal findings, at $5 per bag, or $12 for 3 bags.  The second is a large selection of Polymer Beads, in milifiori designs, from the estate of Barb Klabunder.  Barb created these by hand with the help of her husband, Dick Miller.  Each bead is hand-crafted and unique.    We’ll be adding additional pictures before Friday.
