The middle of Summer brings the full power of the Sun to bear on our little corner of heaven, the greater Portland/Vancouver Metro area.

As of this writing, we have gone more than 50-some days without measurable precipitation.  And there have been many days of 90+ highs.

It is enough to make us long for the Fall and the cooling rains ahead.
